The Digital and Creative Revolution
We are currently in the midst of the of the digital and creative revolution. The demand for content creation has increased dramatically and most attention has shifted towards the digital world.
With many businesses struggling to cope with competition and the ability to attract attention, they have made it a priority to hire influencers, content creators and digital marketing companies to solve their problems.
The old world simply isn’t as practical as it used to be. We have enough technology to complete tasks quickly and sticking to the past would just be inefficient.
The digital environment is the new realm of information. Many people are moving away from traditional universities and are learning online instead, given that fact that a large amount of information can be accessed for free.
People believe that it makes no sense to spend $200,000 on education from universities whereas you can spend less than $1000 on online courses. It would only take months to complete the course and individuals would instantly be able to apply those skills. With the increase in technology it should not take 4 years to complete a degree, considering information can be transferred and processed quickly.
This generation no longer wants to work the same old jobs that our parents and grandparents have worked: Physically daunting jobs from sunrise to sunset with no time for rest, leisure or social life. People simply don’t agree that we should be working 8 hours in one day given that we have advanced so much in technology. The entire goal of technology is to make our lives easier not harder. Somehow we are working more than our grandparents, who in their era had less technology.
The human brain can completely focus on a task for only around 4 hours. With the rapid changes that are happening and society’s increasing awareness, I strongly believe that we will start to see less working hours.
People are aiming towards a more balanced lifestyle. A balance of mind, body and spirit. Adequate sleep, meditation/prayer, spending time with family and friends, cooking healthy food, breathing fresh air, running, swimming, reading, learning, painting, drawing, singing and playing sports. We should all be living life to have enough time to do our favorite hobbies. This is the only way we will feel a sense of purpose.
However, many people are unable to notice this shift while it is happening. Remember when only a decade ago television was the norm? Now, very few people watch their favorite shows on television. People used to go to malls to do most of their shopping but as of 2024, people just shop online. Convenience is always the deciding factor in business.
Many businesses have gone bankrupt because they were unable to recognize that shift early and they never took the actions to adapt quickly. Luckily, TAQ keeps everyone aware of the changes in trends and provides the blueprint to thrive in our current market. Always stay five steps ahead because changes are happening in the blink of an eye.
